Students from across Dudley are helping to open mass vaccination centres around the area.
The Health and Social care students have been successful in getting paid roles working in vaccination centres opened by Dudley Group of Hospitals.
Alice Mills-Adams, Thomas Pegg, Kiran Akhtar, Daniel Sault, Anjeli Maharaj and Charlotte Baker have started their shifts at different sites.
Charlotte said: “I applied so I could make some sort of contribution in helping other health care professionals fight against the disease.”
Sarah Hale, from Halesowen College, said: “Thank you to all of these students – we are very proud of you! They will get some excellent experience which will definitely help them in future careers.”
