LOS LUNASÂ â Student artists from across the county were honored during the opening reception for the eighth annual Student Art Show at the Los Lunas Museum of Heritage and Arts on Saturday.
While the creations of more than 20 elementary, middle and high school received ribbons, museum specialist Jan Micalettie said every piece in the show was a winner.
âEvery piece hanging in the gallery is a winner because they were juried in,â Micalettie said.
For this yearâs show, Los Lunas High School senior Tia Bernal submitted a watercolor still life. She typically does portraits, Bernal said, but wanted to do something different for this show.
