Strong Mayor powers invoked to fast track 'The Bridge,' says Ellis | Cornwall Standard-Freeholder

A spate of 35 drug overdoses due to tainted street drugs since Tuesday of last week has forced his hand, he told city council Monday, to end the disturbing trend by fast tracking new support services within the city for the unhoused and those struggling with addictions.
