More than 500 people brought lawn chairs or blankets to sit and listen to the Oak Ridge Community Band on July 4, 2021. The Independence Day Concert, held at the Pavilion at A.K. Bissell Park in Oak Ridge, was held before the city's fireworks show. Last year's annual summer holiday concert was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic and missed by many people, as evidenced by the large crowd this year.
