It may seem like there isn’t much happening at the University of Waterloo’s satellite campus in Stratford lately, but a group of students preparing to wrap up their courses this weekend have been making the best of what’s been a very challenging school year.
“It’s a tough time for everyone,” said Ryan Lott, a second year student enrolled at the Stratford School of Interaction Design and Business. “I’ve met some people who do enjoy online (learning) and they can do a lot of stuff on their own time … but there are also a lot of students that really do prefer in-person (classes) and this is a bit of a struggle for them.”
