In an effort to help local businesses and organizations keep their customers and employees safe while avoiding costly fines for non-compliance, the Stratford Perth Centre for Business is offering a series of free webinars on the development of mandatory COVID safety plans.
In partnership with Huron County Economic Development, investStratford’s centre for business is offering seven live webinars throughout April, the first of which was set for Wednesday evening.

“In the last (safety inspection) blitz, Huron Perth public health uncovered that only 52 per cent of businesses (inspected) in Stratford met the COVID requirements. … We don’t want small businesses to be fined and penalized any more than they already are, so we teamed up with (Huron County) and the Huron Perth health unit in order to provide these webinars that will help guide people on all the requirements they need to meet,” said Trena Hough, event and program co-ordinator at the Stratford Perth Centre for Business.
