Varsity-bound: The students checking out from quarantine.
SIXTY-SEVEN international postgraduate students from Indonesia will be starting their studies in Malaysia after completing their seven-day quarantine.
The Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) Scholarship recipients were welcomed by Education Malaysia Global Services (EMGS) during a briefing session at a hotel in Kuala Lumpur on March 30.
The scholarship is an initiative to strengthen bilateral relations between Malaysia and Indonesia through education.
This is the largest number of international students sponsored by NTB since the pandemic hit, EMGS said in a press release.
Its chief executive officer Mohd Radzlan Jalaludin said EMGS would give its full support to ensure that the process for international students to study in Malaysia runs smoothly.
