TWO amber flood alerts are currently in force across mid Cheshire – less than a week after some areas were hit by flooding.
The north west is currently experiencing heavy rainfall from Storm Christoph, with the Met Office issuing a yellow weather warning for rain from today through to Thursday in mid Cheshire.
The Environment Agency has issued two flood alerts for the area, meaning flooding is possible and residents should be prepared.
On of those alerts is in place for the River Weaver catchment, including Northwich and Winsford, where river levels are expected to peak tomorrow.
