Stories of the first Norwegian pioneers of Norway Lake celebrated at site of the old log church

Since 1997, the Norway Lake Lutheran Historical Association has not only commemorated the very first Lutheran church built in the area, but is also keeping the stories of those pioneers alive. Over the years, the organization has found new ways to not only tell the histories of those first Norwegians but also invite representatives from modern-day immigrants to share their experiences.
