THE Uplifting and also tragic personal stories from people across Salisbury are told in a new booklet.
Salisbury Covid Stories: The experiences of Salisbury people during the Covid 19 pandemic 2020 brings together stories from across Salisbury of the experience of lockdown.
Editor Anne Trevett, the chair of Safer and Supportive Salisbury, who has put the booklet together, said: “ Yes, we were all in it together when the lockdown came. But each one of us experienced it in our own way.
“Each of these stories from Salisbury people reflects a personal experience, some tragic, some everyday and some uplifting.
The 29 stories in the book include a piece by Councillor John Walsh on being the mayor of Salisbury during lockdown, stories of grief and loss, stories from those who volunteered to provide help and others on the creative ways that people used to fill their time.
