Stone Zoo's new seasonal exhibit, T. Rex Adventure, opens on April 16 and runs through Sept. 6.
As guests wander the paths of Stone Zoo, they’ll travel back in time and walk among the dinosaurs that once ruled the planet.
This special exhibit features a 20-foot-long Plateosaurus, a plant-eater that roamed the Earth 200 million years ago, and a 42-foot-long T. Rex, a “famously formidable and powerful dinosaur.”
An array of realistic animatronic dinosaurs, as well as dinosaur skeletons, will be nestled within the trees, bushes and undergrowth to impress visitors.
“With moving, roaring, life-like animatronic dinosaurs, this exhilarating experience is not to be missed for both little and big dino-enthusiasts alike,” said John Linehan, Zoo New England president and CEO.
