A Coalhurst man charged last year after RCMP recovered thousands of dollars worth of stolen property in a Coaldale storage unit, hopes to resolve his matter without going to trial.
During a brief hearing Monday in Lethbridge provincial court, an agent for the accused’s lawyer explained that even though a pre-trial conference had been held, the Crown and defence were continuing to have resolution negotiations.Â
Gerald Thurber, 53, is charged with 46 criminal offences, comprising multiple counts of possession of stolen property and possession of government identity documents. He also faces one count of drug possession.
