An Ontario Superior Court judge has adjourned a case involving the approval of a restraining order against the owner of Stewart’s Decorating in North Bay to June 10.
Counsel for Alexandra Stewart, the owner of Stewart’s Decorating, and the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit appeared before Regional Senior Judge for the Northeast Region M. Gregory Ellies in a virtual court session Tuesday morning to discuss the order.

The Superior Court of Justice issued a restraining order last week against Stewart over alleged further non-compliance with the health unit’s Section 22 order, made under the Health Protection and Promotion Act, which ordered her business immediately close to the public and all patrons April 17 for not following COVID-19 restrictions.
