A group of young women form a punk band and puncture perceptions of Muslims in the wickedly funny We Are Lady Parts.

Wickedly funny and thoughtfully devised, this six-part British comedy series follows a group of young Muslim women trying to find their voices via the noble and time-honoured tradition of playing in a punk band. It’s immediately clear that Lady Parts are a force of nature, “concocting a confused mix of hash anthems and sour girl power; one part boredom, two parts identity crisis”.
