Stellantis said on Thursday it will launch production of medium-sized electric vans in 2025 at its Luton plant in England, providing some long-term certainty for a factory that has been producing vans for 92 years. The world's fourth-largest automaker by sales said starting in the spring next year Luton will produce five electric models including the Vauxhall Vivaro Electric, Peugeot E-Expert and Fiat Professional E-Scudo in both right- and left-hand drive versions. Stellantis already makes small electric vans at its other UK plant in Ellesemere Port.
