Turns out, it was worth the trip to Steinbach.
Kyle Penner, assistant pastor at Grace Mennonite Church in Steinbach, said appointments at the vaccination supersite, which opened Tuesday, have been booked far in advance.
"The good news is, our supersite opened and it is booked solid through to June 13," said Penner on Wednesday.
"Right now the problem is accessibility and availability. A lot of people don't want to drive an hour (to Winnipeg) to get their shot."
