Staycation bookings soar amid hopes for domestic travel

There are indications that staycation holidays will be a big feature of the summer once again this year.
Holiday rentals in coastal areas, particularly along the Wild Atlantic Way on the west coast, are seeing a big increase in bookings already.
However the lack of international visitors could make this year far worse than 2020 for some hotel owners, who say they simply cannot sustain two years in a row of big losses.
