Statues in Vadodara, including those of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III and prince Fatehsinhrao Gaekwad, have turned green. Activists have highlighted the deteriorating condition of the statues of Mahatma Gandhi and Shaheed Bhagat Singh, which have also turned green and show signs of scaling. Vadodara Municipal Corporation dedicated the restored statues of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III and prince Fatehsinhrao Gaekwad to the city.
