Period of National Mourning for His Royal Highness The Prince Philip,
Duke of Edinburgh
Following the death of His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Endinburgh, the Governor and his Office will observe a period of national morning in respect of his passing.
Tomorrow (Saturday, 10 April) the Governor will attend a private 21-gun salute staged by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force at 12:00 noon in Queen Elizabeth II Park.
The Territory of the Virgin Islands will fly flags at half-mast outside of its buildings, until after the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral, details of which will be confirmed in due course.
