State Vows To Prosecute Big Lake Man Accused of Killing Mom

(KNSI) – The Sherburne County Attorney’s Office says they’ll prosecute a Big Lake man accused of murdering his mother if he’s found competent.
Eric Leif Jordahl is accused of killing Rose Johnson in July of 2020. Johnson was a member of the Big Lake City Council.
According to a criminal complaint, Jordahl’s father told dispatchers that when he got home from work, Jordahl told him he had killed Johnson.
Officers responded to the home and found Jordahl covered in blood and a knife on the kitchen table.
They found Johnson’s body in a lower-level basement bedroom.
