State trooper's use of lethal force in Hancock shooting was justified, DA says

District Attorney Timothy Shugrue said Trooper William Munch “employed and exhausted multiple attempts to de-escalate the situation” before firing his weapon on Philip Henault, who was armed with two knives and was advancing on Munch.
