SPRINGFIELD — State Rep. Carlos Gonzalez, D-Springfield, helped shepherd 20 people into Caring Health Center in the South End Thursday afternoon for COVID-19 vaccines.
He led a group of volunteers who wrestled with walkers, oxygen tanks and language barriers at the scene and with paperwork and online appointment programs and a series of other stumbling blocks over the past few days.
