State police: Troopers fired shots in pursuit that nabbed Erie man wanted in drug rip-off

A Pennsylvania State Police SUV is parked outside the Troop E headquarters on May 2 in Lawrence Park Township.
An Erie man wanted by the Pennsylvania State Police on charges of robbing a person of state police buy money during an undercover drug investigation in Erie earlier this month was nabbed by troopers on Tuesday following a pursuit in southern Erie County.
Troopers fired gunshots during the incident, but no one was shot and no other injuries were reported in the apprehension, according to investigators.
