State appears to be moving forward with proposal for youth detention centers in several Maine locations

The Good Will-Hinckley campus in Fairfield is one of 15 sites under consideration for "therapeutic residences" should lawmakers choose to close or downsize the Long Creek Youth Development Center in South Portland, according to a state Department of Corrections report.
