A Bayonne dry cleaning business created a hostile work environment for a lesbian employee, the state Attorney General’s Office announced Tuesday.
The owner of Professional Touch Dry Cleaning and Apparel Repairs “regularly made derisive remarks” about a former employee’s sexual orientation, the agency said, and allegedly created a hostile environment by “openly disclosing, discussing, and deriding” the fact that the employee is gay.
The employee quit after two years, the Attorney General’s Office said.
