Star Trek: Lower Decks Season One Beams To Blu-ray In May

When the Star Trek entered streaming with Star Trek: Discovery, the franchise was able to branch out in various ways that wouldn’t necessarily work in a broadcast network universe. They’ve done one off episodes and even brought back Sir Patrick Stewart in Picard without making him produce 24 episodes a season. Another spin-off series has found a journey on the Paramount+ (previously CBS All Access) streaming app. They’ve animated a crew of a lesser known Starship to give us an insight on a crew not on the USS Enterprise. Now for people who are in a situation where streaming isn’t a good option because of a lack of bandwidth or collectors of Star Trek shows, I Star Trek: Lower Decks – Season 1 /i arrives on Blu-ray in May. Beyond the episodes will be hours of bonus features of what went into animating these bold new adventures.
