Police Search
(Bangor) â A manhunt last evening in the Capehart section of Bangor as police looked for two men who fled following a traffic stop. A state trooper reportedly pulled over a maroon colored SUV for a traffic violation and both the driver and passenger fled. The passenger dropped a handgun and police recovered the gun. Bangor police joined state troopers in the search. Police have not released names.
(Augusta) â Bucket trucks and line crews will continue working around the clock to get electricity restored to Mainers who lost it during the weekend. Central Maine Power reported nearly 31-thousand outages at 5:30 this morning, while Versant Power said more than 14-hundred, mostly in Northern Penobscot County still lacked electricity. The power went out Saturday as heavy wet snow and high winds brought down trees over power lines, snapping the lines and sometimes the poles. CMP says they donât expect to get everyone back on until tomorrow.
