NEGAUNEE — Troopers from the Michigan State Police Negaunee Post faced a barricaded gunman on Tuesday while trying to serve a warrant at a residence along Midway Drive in Negaunee Township.
The MSP reported that troopers attempted to serve a felony arrest warrant for a female subject at a residence in Negaunee Township on Tuesday morning. Upon arrival at the residence, troopers were met by a male subject brandishing a pistol through a window.
Troopers immediately backed from the residence and set up a perimeter. Troopers at the scene positively identified the male subject as also having a felony arrest warrant.
