Matej Kavčič, a reporter for the Slovenian independent radio station Radio Student who was arrested and imprisoned in Iraq a month ago, has been released from prison, Radio Student said on Friday. The Foreign Ministry confirmed the news. His German colleague Marlene Foerster, who was arrested together with him, has also been released.
