St. Kilda Café & Bakery expanding to Clive in former Café 128 space

The St. Kilda restaurant group, known for full-service fresh breakfast and lunch, is adding another location as it branches out of downtown Des Moines. 
St. Kilda Café & Bakery will open in November or December at 12695 University Ave. Suite 140 in Clive, said owners Alexander and Whitney Hall. The space was previously home to Table 128 Bistro and Bar, which announced last month that it will move to downtown Des Moines. 
Two doors down from the newest St. Kilda in Suite 100, the Halls are working the second location for Franka Pizzeria, the Neapolitan-style eatery that replaced St. Kilda Surf and Turf in the East Village last year. They signed the leases for both locations at the same time.
