By BRENT MARTINSt. Joseph PostSt. Joseph School Board members will not talk about whether a search will soon be underway for a new superintendent.News reports have surfaced in Minnesota that Doug Van Zyl has been chosen as the new superintendent for the Lakeville Area School District.School Board Vice President Bryan Green says school members are limited in what they can say."At this time, our hands are still tied in terms of how much we can talk about that, but we look forward to updating the public as soon as we can," Green tells host Barry Birr on the KFEQ Hotline.Van Zyl is a native of Minnesota. He has been with the St. Joseph School District since 2018. Van Zyl has also led public school districts in Fort Dodge, Iowa and Harrisonville, Missouri.
