Sean Allen, who last month pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter in relation to the killing of his cousin, on Wednesday changed his plea to not guilty when he appeared before the St. Elizabeth Circuit Court.
His attorney told the court that the change of plea was based on information presented in the social enquiry report. He did not elaborate.
He is accused of using a machete to kill 22-year-old Ike Allen during a dispute over a cellular phone on August 12, 2018.
