PANAMA CITY — A study to expand parking in St. Andrews is one local commissioners hope to help bolster the economy of the quaint waterfront fishing village.
The details of the study, which included input from more than 250 respondents, was presented Thursday by Hall Planning and Engineering, Inc. at the Oakland Terrace Clubhouse.
"I'm just happy that we've had the study. ... We need to tie that back in to the charrette process and implement it," Commissioner Mike Nichols said. "I think we're at the moment right now that we've got some good planning and some good thought process, and now we have the money and now we can implement some of those plans."
