Parkland School Division Board of Trustees received the annual School Resource Officer (SRO) report during a regular board meeting on March 2.
The SRO Program is now in its ninth year in the division with Const. Gord Marshall of the Parkland RCMP as the current school resource officer for the last four years. The program is run at both Spruce Grove Composite High School and Memorial Composite High School in Stony Plain. Funding for the SRO program has been shared between the City of Spruce Grove and the Town of Stony Plain.
