SPRINGFIELD – Police confiscated 10 guns and arrested a 25-year-old man following a joint investigation into firearms trafficking.
Alidaud Whitehead, of Jonesboro, Georgia, was arrested Wednesday and charged with trafficking in 10 or more firearms, 10 counts of carrying a firearm and ammunition without a license, two counts of carrying a loaded firearm without a license, four counts of possession of a high capacity magazine, carrying a dangerous weapon with an active warrant and on an arrest warrant for failure to attend jury duty, said Ryan Walsh, police spokesman.
