Spring starts early after warmest winter on record across US

Across much of America, the country went through the winter months without winter. For a wide swath of the country, spring leaves are arriving three to four weeks earlier than normal.The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration confirmed that the winter of 2023-2024 was the warmest in nearly 130 years of record-keeping for the United States.
