Maine Forestry and Logging Museum is staging a day of "Heavy Metal" — all forge fires and steam, except for a belt-driven machine shop originally from Belfast, which will be run with a generator.

They will be doing everything the old fashioned way July 24, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Maine Forest and Logging Museum in Bradley, which neighbors Orono.
