Spelman College Names Dr. Helene D. Gayle President

On Monday, the Spelman College Board of Trustees unanimously voted to appoint Dr. Helene D. Gayle, a public health leader, as the 11th president of the historically Black women’s liberal arts college. Scholars and Spelman leaders praised the move.
