Southern Kaduna mourns Secretary General, Medical, Health Union of Nigeria, Silas Adamu

The Southern Kaduna People’s Union, SOKAPU, has mourned the demise of a member of its National Executive Council, NEC, Dr Silas Adamu, his wife and daughter on Monday in a motor accident along the Kaduna-Abuja expressway.
A statement issued by its National Public Relations Officer, Luka Binniyat, noted that “Dr. Silas who was the President of Atyap Community Development Association (ACDA) was a man who spent most of his adult life as a unionist, fighting for the rights and better welfare of the workers he represented.”
The statement explained that Comrade Silas Adamu rose to the rank of Secretary-General of Medical and Health Union of Nigeria (MHUN), stressing that he contested and won the last ACDA national elections to emerge its President last December.
