The Southern Crescent Chorale performs outdoors in pre-Covid days. Photo/Submitted.
After over a year of Covid restrictions, the Southern Crescent Chorale is bringing live entertainment back to our community.
The seventeenth appearance at Southern Ground Amphitheater will bring the “Great White Way” to downtown Fayetteville. “On Broadway!” will be presented on Saturday, May 22 at 8 p.m.
An extravaganza of some of the greatest hits of the theater world, this concert will not only feature the SCC singers, but also special guest soloists, Trevor Martin and Lydia Campbell.
Trevor Martin is a versatile actor, singer, educator, and musician currently based in Georgia. Described as a “classically-trained baritone, perfect for the Golden Age of musical theater,” Trevor has made a comfortable home both in the operatic and musical theater genres. Some musical theater highlights include: ”Sweeney Todd” (Sweeney Todd), ”Guys & Dolls” (Sky Masterson), ”Les Miserables” (Javert), ”Beauty & the Beast” (Beast), and ”The Sound of Music” (Captain Von Trapp).
