Southern Alamance's Duggins tosses no-hitter to extend series with win over Alexander Central

Welcome, N.C. — With her team's back against the wall, Southern Alamance pitcher threw a no-hitter against Alexander Central in Game 2 of the NCHSAA 3A Softball State Championship Series at North Davidson High School on Saturday.
Isley Duggins allowed no runs and no hits -- the only runners reaching base on an error and a walk -- while striking out five over seven innings to lead the Patriots (16-4, 7-1 Mid-Piedmont 3A) to a 3-0 win over the Cougars (16-4, 10-2 Northwestern 3A/4A).
