As she works toward the highest award in Girl Scouting, 15-year-old Abigail J. Thibodeau has learned that “sometimes the ‘impossible’ isn’t really all that impossible at all.”
The member of Troop 64594 in Southampton focused her Gold Award project on providing shade to those who use the William E. Norris Elementary School preschool playground. She coordinated the funding, purchase and installation of two steel shade shelters there.
