Lagos, Jan. 19, 2021 Dr Adetokunbo Pearse, a Chieftain of Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has urged former Gov. Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State to sheathe his sword against Gov. Seyi Makinde of Oyo State to strengthen the party in the Southwest.
Makinde and Fayose have been embroiled in controversy over the leadership of the Southwest chapter of the main opposition party in Nigeria.
Pearse, a University of Lagos lecturer made this appeal in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Lagos on Tuesday.
“The party at the southwest level is having problems mainly because of Fayose.
