South of France: 'Catastrophic' wildfires force thousands of residents and holidaymakers to evacuate

Hundreds of firefighters have tackled the blaze which broke out between Saint-André, near the Spanish border, and the seaside resort of Argeles-sur-Mer on the Mediterranean coast.
