South Carolina Attorney General Files Unfair Labor Practice Charge To Protect Workers At Ports

South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson and the South Carolina Ports Authority filed an unfair labor practice charge against the International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA), its Local 1422, and the United States Maritime Alliance, Ltd. (USMX).
The state is taking this action to protect the jobs of hundreds of South Carolinians working for the SC Ports Authority and the investment that the SCPA and state taxpayers have made in a highly competitive port system.
