Sony has announced the release of its ZV-E10, a compact and portable mirrorless camera with a feature-set optimized for vloggers and content creators. This APS-C-format camera blends many of Sony’s successful photo and video technologies with an updated physical design, intuitive handling and connectivity, and improved audio recording.
Sony is positioning the ZV-E10 as a transition point between its compact ZV-1 vlogging camera and sleeker APS-C mirrorless cameras, such as the a6400. The ZV-E10 splits the functionality of these two lines, as well—it takes the vlogging-specific design (and naming convention) from the ZV-1 while borrowing the imaging platform, body design, and lens mount from the Alpha system. By combining the two, the result is improved image quality with an optimized feature-set for content creation.
