Carlos Toure Leondre Edwards, 19, was granted status under the Holmes Youthful Trainee Act by Macomb County Circuit Judge James Maceroni for his actions after his father, Carlos Allan Edwards, allegedly shot a 19-year-old man sitting in a vehicle last March in Eastpointe.
