According to Salisbury Fire Department Deputy Chief Dave Short, one person suffered first and second degree burns while escaping a garage fire at a residence in Springs on Friday.
Chief Short says crews arrived on scene, along the 1600 block of Springs Road, and found the garage engulfed in flames.
Chief Short notes that several vehicles and a motorhome were damaged or destroyed in the blaze.
Investigators are still determining the cause of the fire but Chief Short believes that a leak, or a possible explosion, is to blame.
The condition of the homeowner is unknown at this time but Chief Short says that his injuries were non-life-threatening.
