Soma Laishram: Manipur Actor Faces Ban Threat For Attending Beauty Contest Amid Unrest

An Imphal-based civil society organisation has barred actor Soma Laishram from acting in films for three years after she participated in a beauty pageant, in defiance of an appeal by the group to boycott such events in view of the Manipur crisis.
