Solidarity must be a two-way street, says McGuinness as the EU prepares for life without Britain

“The key for Ireland in future will be to show the same solidarity with member states that might in future need our support. Solidarity is a two-way street.”
In October it was reported that Ireland attracted more global financial institutions relocating from the UK ahead of Brexit than any other EU member state. So should Dublin be aiming to rival the likes of Frankfurt for this kind of business and could it hope to compete?
Ms McGuinness says London is a major financial centre and it served as an important hub for the EU before Brexit.
